The Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis has created its own distinctive approach to educational programs, integrating the mission of the institution with the needs of the community. Outreach and education programs are designed to provide opportunities for our visitors including youth, adults, artists, teachers, and the general public to engage with contemporary art in meaningful way.

PUBLIC PROGRAMS
Programs at the Contemporary are created to accompany and interpret exhibitions by facilitating open, interactive discussion and education and to encourage partnerships while engaging a wide range of audiences with contemporary art.

TEEN PROGRAMS
It is important for youth to be exposed to and learn about art and the Contemporary takes pride in making this happen. We offer a variety of wonderful teen programs and opportunities for teen artists, art lovers, or any teen who wants to become further involved in a creative, art-educational atmosphere.

SCHOOL PROGRAMS
The Contemporary offers a variety of programs for schools and educational groups. Students (and their teachers and parents) are encouraged to get students involved in these programs because of the valuable experiences they will encounter through learning about art.

TECHNOLOGY
The Contemporary is a leading museum in the way of technology. We are one of the first and only museums to offer podcasts of educational audio tours and interviews have a well-known blog, which we share with the Pulitzer Foundation for the Arts, and current online communication websites including You Tube, MySpace and facebook.
