You do not have to make a big donation to have a big impact. When you give to the Contemporary’s Annual Fund, your gift is combined with hundreds of other gifts—from corporations, members, friends, students, artists, and staff. And because these gifts are normally unrestricted, the Contemporary has the flexibility to fund its most pressing needs, and this has a huge impact. For example, unrestricted gifts to the Contemporary’s Annual Fund can be used support the Contemporary’s youth education programs and help us continue to serve the children in our community who need us the most.

A gift to the Annual Fund is 100% tax deductible. Your gift will help the museum in a variety of ways, such as: 

• It allows the Contemporary to welcome thousands of people for free each year, many for the very first time.
• It helps pay for scholarships and art materials for kids to participate in meaningful art instruction each week.
• It supports hundreds of visual artists living and working in our community through programs such as City-Wide Open Studios and Flat Files (It would be cool if these were live links to those pages!)
• It enables us to bring major international artists and speakers to St. Louis.
• It provides general operating support so we can continue to grow as one of the most recognized contemporary art institutions in the world.
